Tuna Salad

This tuna salad has the perfect balance of creaminess from the mayo and crunchiness from the veggies. The addition of mustard gives this tuna salad a kick and depth of flavor. So quick, so filling, and so delicious, this tuna salad is perfect for anyone at any time.

Yields: 4-5 servings

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 5-ounce cans of canned white albacore in water, drained

  • ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

  • 2 ½ tablespoons of dijon mustard

  • 1 celery stock, peeled and finely chopped

  • 1 small carrot, peeled and finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons of red onion, finely chopped

  • ¼ teaspoon of pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions:

  • Place drained tuna into a bowl and break up any large chunks with a fork.

  • Mix in the mayo and mustard until fully combined with the tuna.

  • Add the celery, carrot, red onion, pepper, and garlic powder to the tuna mixture. 

  • If your tuna salad is looking dry, add more mayo or mustard and serve with an extra sprinkle of pepper on top! Serve in lettuce cups with fresh baby tomatoes.
